Saturday, April 15, 2023 - Splash decanted followed over the evening. Started off very tight not giving much on the nose or palate. The nose never really opened up, but after a few hours the palate deepened with red and black cherries, cedar and spice cake. Slightly chewy tannins. Medium+ bodied enough acidity to stay fresh. It will develop a bit further but ready now with air. Solid, but no fireworks for me.
