Saturday, April 15, 2023 - High extraction and big fruit for haut medoc. Not the elegant and mild mannered table wine that I was expecting. Stewed, ripe red fruit with lots of sediment, shows notes of coffee and scorched earth as it warms in the glass. A little hot…I took this all wrong and might give it a point more with a rich, fatty meal. Reminds me of something from fronsac, like ville cure….this should actually age well! Drink or hold

6/17/2023 9:30:00 AM - Hi Pavel_Is'nt it funny how there is a new narrative developing around the 2009 Bordeaux vintage, drawing comparisons to the 2003? LOL....All I want to know is, what happened to all the love? Another great example that most folk read and cant taste, then someone connects the dots, and then the echo gets louder. All I heard was 2009 this and 2009 that, and in many cases, allot of good wine was made for sure. But, it backfired for many. Cheers and thanks for your kind comment.
    The tooth :-)
