Friday, April 21, 2023 - This has deepened and sweetened with time in the bottle: red and black fruits, a little prunes, sweet tobacco and vanilla, licorice, mint and thyme, a hint of violet liqueur... full and textured, dense and structured but not heavy, nor overly tannic, though it does turn firm and dry on the finish. I would not save this too long, but it should be worth following 5 or so years.
