Tuesday, May 2, 2023 - This 99 Chave white Hermitage does not resemble closely those I have had from other vintages if my TNs on those are accurate. Of all descriptors which I used previously I would retain and even emphasise nuttiness, would add bracingly dry fruit and minerals but I did not find much acacia or honey. Indeed it reminded me of a good traditionally vinified Jura wine from Savagnin, even of vin jaune, which is a wine type I love. Very good.
