Thursday, May 11, 2023 - PnP. The Chevy set the bar very high, so I was concerned this would disappoint. It was a bit shy at first, reticent to reveal its true colors. It was a wonderful journey allowing it to unwind more and more with each sip and when it finally got there after about an hour, it was a complete powerhouse. Everything is there and dialed up to 11. Bright and clear fruit, less mineral driven than the Chevy, solid acid core and so much elegance and purity. Each sip pulls you in deeper to reveal another layer of complexity. The best Bouchard experience I've had by far.
