Tuesday, May 16, 2023 - Serious Burgundy night: Clearly a top maker and plot from the first sniff and taste. Serious, reductive nose with gunflint but also with beautiful orchard fruit. Fantastic precision and tension, impressive density of fruit on the palate. The latter characteristic made me think Meursault but after some time in the glass, the Puligny citrus notes began to show. Always one of my favourite wines.
