Tuesday, May 23, 2023 - Second label by an excellent vineyard, this vintage stood out. Absolute fruit jam: raspberries, plum, blackberries, and blackcurrant. This one shows so much life beyond a heavy fruit structure, you’ve got a lot of oak, mineral, and graphite to back it up. Vanilla flavored cigar and pepper to follow it up - 65% Cabernet, 30% merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc - healthy tannins to balance this out.

Quite the production and well structured for a $50 price point. So dark in color, heavy on the nose, and a velvety finish to wrap up a great glass.
