Thursday, May 25, 2023 - I just read that Beaujolais is the Rodney Dangerfield (no respect) region of Burgundy. I am beginning to think this is so. This 8 year old Chenas was delightful - lots of fruit, deep garnet color, subtle but complex nose. Almost jammy palate, we drank with cedar planked salmon. Great pairing. I think I will be trying more Beaujolais in the near future.
