Saturday, June 24, 2023 - Bierzo is one of my favorite styles, it never disappoints. But this one from Paul Perez wineries is a real gem! Elegant power in every sip. It is still fruity with notes of cherry and blackberries, yet demonstrates earthy tones with mushroom and leather. Nice acidity is the backbone of this wine. Tannins are medium+, but they are not harsh at all. Overall it is perfectly balanced, real pleasure.
