Thursday, June 29, 2023 - Wow. Had this set for 2025 consumption, but moved up to 2023 based on preceding notes. 1.5 hour decant. This thing is in a fantastic window. A hint of sweetness with Christmas spices and licorice on the nose. Deep blue fruits-- primarily baked (not stewed) plums. Tannins still present but not nicely balanced. 15-20 second finish. Couldn't stop pouring.
