Thursday, July 6, 2023 - Coravin'd a glass each of two prior nights and pulled the cork on night three. slight hint of green stem on the nose, not as pleasing across the palate as it was earlier this week.

Well, I'm not catching much fruit – or frankly, many characteristics of the varietal – the wine's neither neither overly oaked nor fruit dominant. There's leather, tobacco, and ink layered across modest, mature tannins that have a more pleasant mouth feel and flavor.

Not bad abd enjoyable as a glass, but I'd never guess this as a cab Franc.
