Monday, July 17, 2023 - No numerical rating as the wine wasn't opened under favorable circumstances.
Mid-shoulder fill level which isn't too bad for a 76 year old wine.
The cork came out relatively intact in two pieces.
The hue was a little paler than expected but not alarmingly so.
classic St Julien nose with fading fruit, cigarbox and gravel.
Served a little too warm, so difficult to truly evaluate the balance of the wine. A shame.
