Friday, July 28, 2023 - We rarely drink CA Cabernet anymore, but I really enjoyed this one. There is some oak here, and I always wonder what these would be like if they used French oak instead, but it is not overpowering the wine. I need to be picking up a few of these every once in a while when the opportunity knocks.

7/28/2023 10:29:00 AM - I’ve found that if you give this bottling around 10yrs of bottle age, the oak tends to mellow out and will integrate fairly well (at least for my taste).
