Monday, August 14, 2023 - Dense rich and vivid California cabernwt from Pritchard Hill. This shows a large scaled blueberry, cassis and blackberry frame with strong underrlying mineral and tobacco notes. A large, but reasonably balanced wine. Served a bit too warm ( near room temp) and suffered showing ABV too much, but overall remains a strong wine from this vintage.

Consumed at The Woods in Mackinac Island where we had our first bottle 10 years ago.
