Friday, August 25, 2023 - Brought this to Burlamacco Ristorante (East Coast) for dinner with my wine mates. Theme of the evening: Wines from Chris Ringland. Bottle was decanted for 5 hours prior to consumption.
Brick red in colour with a perfumed nose filled with rambutans and rich lychees. Resembles a fine ruby port at some point.
On the palate the are some notes of bark, fresh pine, sweet syrup and tree sap texture with fine carpet linens.
Close thy eyes and imagine sipping on an aged scotch whiskey.
