Tuesday, August 15, 2023 - pale yellow color, sweet peaches and blood orange on the nose, dazzling, on the palate bursting with sweet fruit, peach, succulent pears, a hint of green apple, soft honeyed mineral notes, this has all the mid-weight opulence and joy of the vintage with a fine structure well buried to keep it all in rein, coming around nicely and almost there- a wine to enjoy while we wait for the 2015s and 2017s to come around.
