Thursday, September 14, 2023 - This started off restrained and cool, but opened up over dinner to show a rich, smokey wine with some dark chocolate and unctuousness. Still, it avoided full on heaviness and was tasty, but next to its more traditional flight mates it failed to wow, being a touch heavy and lacking complexity. Seems like it's ready to drink now, but should hold for a long wine. 90 pts.
