Saturday, September 23, 2023 - Jeb Dunnuck scores this one a 94 and Jeremy Young gives it a 95. Right now, I'm leaning more toward Jeb's score, but I can see this improving with time. A great cellar wine. The 2019 RR Poet "Allusion" is a captivating blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc. Deep ruby-purple hue and a bouquet of black currant, black plum, violets, and eucalyptus. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of flavors, with balanced acidity and fine-grained tannins, featuring black currant, black cherry, and hints of mint and gravel. The finish echoes for a long, long while. Great buy from Full Pull.
