Friday, September 22, 2023 - cork was still nicely intact. once bottle poured in decanter, distinctive aromas came bursting out like dynamite, ample secondary tertiary notes. small amounts of residues. think an hour of air is good enough to start sipping, and it kept evolving in the next few hours. '96 is ready for drinking, and very enjoyable, though i would recommend to save enough time to savor the long long finishing which it didn't seem to end!
