In comparison with the many Rieslings on the table, this was dense and not as enjoyable to drink.. probably better with rich fatty (bread/meat) foods in butter based sauces. I don't think this would even pair that well with oysters unless they were very rich and fatty/salty themselves. On a long plateau of maturity today, drink within the next decade.
