Monday, October 9, 2023 - Cracked this one open for dinner for two with a beef stew my wife made which was incredible. There’s a reason this wine is considered one of the best there is: from the first wiff, a strong, extremely rich combination of fruit, dirt, herbs, makes you go OMG! Then on taste, it just blows you away with all that, currant, chocolate, Sonny Rollins, and more. Decanted for an hour but it just kept getting better, getting smoother, richer. You can tell this could easily age for another 10 years and be a boss!
