Wednesday, October 18, 2023 - Double decanted 1 hour prior and it opened over the next hour easily. Deep ruby and purple color. Floral linen and cedar on the nose. Dark cherry, vanilla, a little black pepper, dark chocolate, and dusty, powdery tannins on the tail with 35-40 sec finish. Beautiful Bordeaux influence with a more prominent fruit balance, delicious and nice QPR. Paired nicely with steak pasta but also fantastic without food.
