Friday, October 20, 2023 - Clean light cherry in the glass, hints of expected purple with nothing approaching the signs of oxidation/age.
On the nose, Forrest floor, mushroom, macerated oxidised cherry and... I detect Bret.
The pallet is initially boozy overripe Strawberry, bitter orange(!?) Follows with light tannins for a velvety mouthfeel to distinguish to distinguish this southern hemisphere pinot from its bergundian cousins.
