Monday, October 23, 2023 - Delicious Texas blend. Aged 36 months in oak. I'm impressed with the quality of Texas wines and this is an interesting blend, referred as a "super Tuscan" 🤔. I'm enjoying the acidity, sipping on the PNP. Nice nose of floral and tart cherries. I find the finish a bit short and lacking complexity, though I did expect more fruit forward from cab franc and cabernet sauvignon. I cannot taste any impact of Petite Verdot, perhaps that's where the floral notes are from?

Maybe this will open up? If it does, I'll come back and add more.
