Sunday, October 29, 2023 - Ether and pen ink on the nose. On the palate, currant, plum, and black cherry, with notes of leather and savory spice on the long finish, with strong tannins that faded over some hours, and well-balanced acidity. This was equally good the second day, although the disappearance of the tannins gave it a very different character. This was excellent, and it was an excellent value at under $50. The Cellartracker drinking window is too short; this should last for at least several more years.
