Tuesday, October 31, 2023 - Classic Margaux fragrance, but low on complexity. It enters pretty smoothly with low acidity and tannin. However, despite its dark translucent ruby colored core, it's concentration is on the light side and ends in a short somewhat bitter finish. Simply put, it is a very straightforward commercially styled wine that won't improve with further bottle age. Only vaguely reminiscent of the Chateau's grand vin's style.
