Saturday, November 4, 2023 - After couple of disappointing bottes, nice to see that this was spot on. Still dark in colour, but with a lovely bright vibrant brick rim. Nose is pure and intense, nicely aromatic, with iron, mineral, charcoal and dark plum and currant fruit. Palate is similar, taut and intense, with ripe currant and dark plum fruit, juicy with tasty plum acidity, , fruit is nicely sweet with minimal tannins and a very long minerally finish. Absolutely delicious with some baked chicken thighs. Really excellent.
