Friday, November 10, 2023 - Tasted next to 15 and 16. This clearly had the most fruit on the nose with strawberry and melon notes in the foreground. Nice acidity on the palate with lots of fruit flavors, in particular grapefruit and lemon plus an almost saline minerals note. Nice finish, but not quite as long as the 15. This was super good and was drinking really well and provided the most immediate pleasure. The fireworks did tone down slightly with air and the wine became a little more austere. I would drink this now and let the 15s and 16s rest a bit longer.
