Saturday, November 18, 2023 - Dark ruby. Medium+ intense nose of dark plum, blackberries, some blackcurrant, coffee, some black pepper, violets.

Palate similar. Ripe and intense, with somewhat heavy alcohol. Powerful wine. Quite well balanced, but the strong alcohol puts a damper on this one for me. Doesn't seem to bother most others though.

Full body, medium acidity and medium- tannins.
