Saturday, November 18, 2023 - Not at all a flawed wine in any sort of way but I was definitely let down by how light this Barolo was. Almost to the point of tasting watered down. Yes it still had the usual flavors and aromas of sage, rosemary, roses, dried fruits and cherries along with nice grippy tannins. However, the flavors were so light, a wine so delicate, that it didn’t quite hold up to a light dish pasta. Not memorable and unfortunately very disappointed with the price that was paid even if I didn’t get to pay the tab.
