Monday, November 20, 2023 - We enjoyed this wine over two days with an assortment of Spanish meats, cheeses, and garnishes. Dark garnet, almost into brown, and discernibly closed on day 1 but still delicious with all the meats and cheeses - splendid on day 2! Dry wine with dark cooked fruit, over-their-prime violets, cedar, pepper and a mineral edge on the back palate, plush tannins, med-long finish. Having this perfect weekday wine with the right food and at the right temp is key to really enjoying it.
