Thursday, December 14, 2023 - I wasn't sure what to expect from a pinot 3 years past it's window, but this is a pleasant surprise. It took about 20 min to open in the glass but it rewarded with a smooth, well integrated and balanced wine. Dry with subdued but satisfying red fruit on the palete. This first bottle from the case I bought that just arrived isn't past its prime at all, but is drinking beautifully now. I also bought half a case of the 2013, and prefer the 2012.
