Wednesday, December 20, 2023 - Dep herbal, foot-trod, singed earth, garrigue, black cherry, blackcurrant, sour cherry. A bretty, wild quality on the palate, but a pleasant sweetness counteracts it. Wild berries persist on the palate. Red cherry explodes in a juicy brightness. Medium plus acid, tense grippy tanins, a savory bitterness that shows up on mid palate. Finish is medium+, elongated by this sweetness to herbaceous balance.
