Saturday, December 30, 2023 - LD Farewell Gathering (Upper West Side): A very steely Puligny - might have guessed Chassagne if blind. Muscle and acidity on this bottle. I had my eye on this sitting in THP's cellar for quite some time as I have not had any 14's from Benoit Ente. A lovely bottle, but perhaps lacking some of the aromatic nuance and fullness of fruit that his brother seems to so often posses.
