Friday, December 15, 2023 - from 375ml bottle. needed a good hour plus to open up.

golden yellow colour and viscous in the glass. generous nose of ripe lychee, mango, honeysuckle, rosewater and whiffs of grapefruit peel, ginger and wet stones. off-dry and moderately unctuous in the mouth, a hint of botrytis comes across the palate as fruit flavours unfold balanced by a pithy minerality. moderate acidity is at play, but plenty of liveliness comes from notes of coriander and ginger spice. very good length.

the creamy texture subtle sweetness made it a delightful pairing to a spicy, creamy Panang curry.

14% AbV (well integrated); ~12-15g/L RS estimated
