Wednesday, January 10, 2024 - Lots of acidity, spice, tannins but also green tightness. Fruit is there but overwhelmed by the other stuff. Very long finish and aftertaste. To me a great example of what results from perfectionized winemaking applied to less than perfect grapes (second wine). Amazing intensity and length but lacks purity. Benefits significantly from a colder than usual drinking temperature (< 15C). Enjoyable and excellent QPR if you like a more intense style.
