Friday, January 12, 2024 - Opened with a bit of trepidation, given the near 30-year-old age. Cork was perfect, and it had been stored in my cellar ever since release.
This wine is going strong. Strong nose of dark fruit and a heavy dose of licorice and Cassis in the mouth. Shockingly youthful wine still with a tannic backbone. Very impressive.
