Thursday, January 18, 2024 - Perhaps the last bottle was off? This tasting is showing a much improved nose and complexity. This bottle was shipped from winery so its potentially a different barrel is all I can imagine? I'm not a big "When Wine" guy, but this a fruit day. Maybe that is having some affect on the results, too. Much more fruit forward, distinctive cherry notes and some hints of floral.
