Friday, February 23, 2024 - Schiefer Reihburg-Vertikale 2024 mit Uwe Schiefer, Weinkosterei Burg Schlaining 23.2.2024, Austria (Weinkosterei, Schlaining Castle, Burgenland, Austria): This was the "starter" of the Reihburg verticale and we all were surprised, how open this bottle showed. Red berries, flowers and herbs on the nose. It reminds me on some of the 2020 left-side Bordeauxs at the arrivage-tasting. Acidity, minerality and even some complexity already there. Big promise for the future! 92++ pts. for the moment with potential for a few more points over the next 10 years.
