This note is based off a small pour -- no more than half an ounce to an ounce. Completely still at this point. Austere, and extremely shy. Soft and reserved apple note. Second time tasting this wine, and this reminded me of the bottle I had a few months back: this wine is far from obvious; it plays hard to get. You have to chase this down, as opposed to waiting for it to come to you.
