Likes this wine:

Thursday, February 29, 2024 - Pours garnet with a thin translucent rim. Nose is serious and spiced. There is an herbaceous streak hiding behind this and yet to fully emerge - I think this is still evolving. Balanced body, even a little bitter with generous dark fruit. Supposedly this is earlier to mature and drink than the domaine’s other 1er Cru from Aloxe-Corton (Vercots) but to me this tastes like it is not yet at peak. Drinkable today for sure but if I had another bottle I would hold for several more years.
