The color is deep ruby slightly purple in the centre with clearing at the rim to slightly pinkish red. Extract in the tears aswell.

The nose is quite earthy for a new world wine in my experience. Primary fruit i would describe as stewed strawberry maybe plum but it is almost overpowered by the oakiness and tobacco. With a hard to detect tone of spices aswell.

On the palate it starts off with surprisingly lovely acidity in combination with some strawberry raspberry (in comparison to the nose more jammy). After comes the tobacco and oak (almost cigar box) with an earthiness containing spices like bayleaf. Its got nice developed tannins which gives nice balans to the structure, with a long finish. (Possibly long finish because of the alcohol)
