Friday, March 8, 2024 - A good balance of acidity and some elements of sweetness; sour cherry and, to me at least, a very pleasant touch of strawberry. It isn’t super complex but I’m not complaining - it’s a very satisfying barbaresco. On day one I was convinced it would be better the following day but actually I don’t think it was, as it seemed to lose a bit of its energy. It’s been out of bond for a year and it’s in its window, although if well stored I don’t think you need to rush.
