Saturday, March 9, 2024 - Sadly, not as glorious as I expected but still a very nice tasting experience for a classic old BDX with a dark red, bloody color and flavors of graphite pencils, young cassis berries, black cherry and wet cedar. I guessed that my bottle wasn't going to benefit from a long decant, so consumed over a span of 4 hours. Very little aromatics which improved slightly over the evening. The finish was 20 - 30 seconds and mildly tannic. I suggest you drink it now.
