Saturday, March 9, 2024 - A touch riper than many 2021s I've tried, with aromas closer to stone than orchard fruit. Beautiful floral notes as well, and a touch of slate. Grander on the palate; this starts out rather overtly fruity but a sheer wall of incredible minerality soon unfurls; really intense limestone notes, unlikely anything I've tried before. Heavy-to-medium bodied, the acidity here is more broadsword than scalpel. A very baroque, grand-scaled Riesling that pulsates with intensity.
