Tuesday, March 12, 2024 - Decant for 15 minutes. I opened 2014 Sociando-Mallet at the same time. This wine is a winner. Woody, and cigar box aroma. Dark chocolate, plum and game flavors, smooth tannins. I originally thought the acidity of 2014 SM was well balanced, now this wine is more comfortable and delicious, absolutely delicious. It takes at least 45 minutes to open. Definitely in need of lengthy decant.
