Sunday, March 17, 2024 - Lovely, expressive nose. Classic Gewürztraminer aromas but not overblown as they can be. Pure Turkish delight. Wafts of lychee, ginger and honey. An underlying wet stone note. Rich and full bodied but with a line of fresh acidity and a touch of grip. Great flavour intensity and persistence with some pleasant bitterness on the rosewater and honey finish. I'm not the biggest Gewürztraminer fan but this is fantastic. In a great spot so would say drink now... But would be interesting to see how this evolves.
