Friday, March 22, 2024 - Third time through this wine, 10 yrs old now, and still too early. Grenache on clay, from a ridge above the typical slate soil; raised in large used containers with stems included. Monolithic grenache is an oxymoron but if there is such a thing, this is it. Dense and rich but still upright with enough acidity, and permeated with roadside herbs. Flowers there but in the background. Check in on this in 10 more years and don’t be afraid to hold it even longer.
