Saturday, March 30, 2024 - This was not powerful, but was quite elegant. Deep garnet with a browning rim. Nose is clean, not super perfumed, with raspberry, red fruit, gamey notes, cloves, and a hint of pepper. On the palate, blueberry, red fruits, red licorice, herbs. I think this is a well made wine, but doesn’t bowl me over with complexity and flavor. Solid QPR, but not sure I’d buy again. Unsure if I love the blueberry bomb on the palate.
