Saturday, March 30, 2024 - Bought a bottle at Boulevard restaurant SF ( classic ) and shared with some new friends. Wanted to see where it is now, as I have two remaining bottles of a 6 pack. 07’ was a big wine year and I found the wines not only big structurally but a little astringent as well. This wine has still, some remnants of the structure and less of the astringency. But overall it is well integrated and balanced. I may be selling it short with a 94 pt rating as it was drinking wonderfully tonight . I’m now comfortable with drinking this wine now and into the next decade, knowing that it’s at its apex or soon approaching it.
